A place for teens to hang out, make friends, start something, or do absolutely nothing. Different schools. Different schedules. One community.
The Quad is a membership-based social club for teenagers in the Baton Rouge / St. George, Louisiana area. It welcomes teenagers from all educational backgrounds — public school, private school, homeschool, online school, dual enrollment, and alternative schedules — as one community with one membership and one shared social space. The Quad is an independent, nonreligious social club; it is not a school, homeschool co-op, tutoring center, daycare, therapy service, or after-school program. Daytime and evening hours are planned so teens with different schedules can share the same community.
The Quad is taking shape in a roughly 3,000-square-foot commercial building with two large primary rooms, a small private room, restrooms, and outdoor space. Planned features include comfortable lounge and conversation areas, tables for board games and group activities, flexible space for clubs and events, snacks and drinks, a quieter corner for reading or relaxing, and opportunities for members to help shape and decorate the space. These are planned features; real photographs will replace descriptions once the space is ready.
Game nights, casual afternoons, music, art, member-created clubs, movie nights, themed events, dances, creative projects, and spontaneous gatherings. Members can propose activities and help organize them. You don't need a hobby, a talent, or a reason to show up — hanging out is the point, and organized activities are optional.
The Quad is being created from the ground up, and its first members will help shape its identity: choosing décor, suggesting activities, creating clubs, establishing traditions, and contributing ideas for how the space operates. Interested families can join the interest list with no payment and no commitment.
The proposed membership price is $75 per month. Membership is intended to provide access during published operating hours, subject to capacity and club policies. Certain special events, games, snacks, or drinks may have additional charges. Membership supports operating expenses and the sustainability of the space. No paid memberships are being accepted yet; final details will be confirmed before enrollment opens.
